Watching Hoop kids grow has been one of my favorite parts of my job. Ryan has been a long time Hoop kid and the growth he has made as a basketball player is awesome! Ryan has put in so much work and it has paid off. Can’t wait to see where you go next Ryan!
Sam is beautiful inside and out. I had such a great time meeting her and her mom while exploring a new location in Beaverton. Cooper Mt Nature Park during the golden hours in August was breathtaking! Good luck in your senior year Sam!
First off I want to start by Thanking Jordan and Adam for trusting me with their big day which was in Hawaii! Hawaii! How cool is that! Jordan and Adam's wedding was amazing from the scenery to the people. They were surrounded by so much fun, laughter, and just incredible friends and family! I have known Jordan for a long time now, her little (tall) brother played on my husbands basketball team. Over the years I have really got to know Jordan and her family and was so excited when her and Adam got engaged!
Jordan and Adam, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness! You guys are perfect for each other and I wish you nothing but the best! I hope you enjoy your photos for the years to come <3
Year #2 taking the Tyner Family pictures in July. If anyone is looking for outfit ideas for family photos, Cezanne nails it everytime! Love being able to watch this family grow <3
One of the best things about playing sports is the relationships you build with your teammates. While at Pacific Lutheran University I got to play basketball with Melissa (aka Pix to me- to this day I have to call her Pix; even though she is now a Shoemaker)! When you think of a kind, beautiful, loving person you think of a person like Melissa. She is such an amazing, genuine person to be around. And then you have her husband- Tyler. When you think of the sweet, kind, caring country boy you think of Tyler. These two together... you get the most perfect couple! Now, they have a beautiful baby girl named Grace.
I'm so happy for these 3 and the life they have! Love you guys and so excited to watch your life continue to thrive. Your support for one another is inspiring.
I must start by saying Thank you to Justin- all of the shoots I have done since I started have been people I know or have met them at least once before. I went into this shoot never meeting Justin or his mom. Me being me was nervous but it was great! Justin was so much fun to work with, he was funny, a natural model (even though he said he didn't like pictures), creative, and a pleasure to work with! Thank you Justin for trusting me with your senior pictures! It was a honor to take them.
If I could chose one word to describe the McNeil Family today it would be "real". This family is absolutely adorable. I loved Sharon's style and wants for her family pictures. She wanted real life. Real life for them is living in a 4 year old and twins who are just about to be one! My favorite picture from this shoot is them all in their pajama's hanging out on living floor just living life! Life with kids is a crazy one, so embrace the crazy and enjoy the ride!
Thank you McNeil family for letting me take your family pictures! I can't wait to watch your family grow together.
I am still in shock that I took Macey Sykes senior pictures! I have known Macey since she was born- her sister Jade and I grew up together and now we get to raise our babies together which has been awesome! It's crazy to me that Macey is a senior- to this day I picture Macey as this little blonde hair, full of energy (energy she still has), chocolate covered face little girl! I'm so proud of Miss Macey and can't wait to see what's next. Macey keep being you, cause you are awesmoe! Love you girl!
One of the best things about photography is getting to meet new people! I had the privalge of taking Devon's senior pictures a couple weeks ago and had a blast! He was such a nice, polite guy which made the shoot easy and fun. I have to give a shoutout to his mom- Shannon: Shannon you have done an exceptional job with your son! I have only recently got to know you guys a little bit and just from this short time I know you have done amazing! I can't wait to hear about Devon's next adventure at college!
Congratulations George & Justice! What a special day- watching George and Justice commit to each other and create a beautiful family was such an honor. On September 28 they became a family of 5; with 3 adorable little boys! It was so fun being able to shoot the Curtis wedding because I know the Groom and the brother. You guessed it... Hoop Family. George and brother Alex were some of the first Hoop Coaches Theo hired at the Y. It was so great seeing them after many years and catching up. I am so happy George found Justice, behind the lens you can see how much they care for each other and the fun they have together.
Thank you for letting me be apart of your day. I'm so happy for you guys and your family! <3
